GLORY TO GOD #1, published by Calvary Comics, was edited and written by Alec Stevens. He and several
carefully selected artists---friends and former students, all men of like precious faith in Jesus Christ---handled the artistic
chores. Says he: "The first issue is almost sold out (2,000 copies). It was released through Diamond
Distributors the week of 9-11, and, ironically, 911 copies were initially sold in comic shops across America and the
United Kingdom. I believe that God strategically had this publication available (to the comics-buying audience) at that
time as an answer to a nation in shock, and in direct contrast to the sensual, violent, and occultic material that dominates
narrative art in this hour."
