Since 1985 Alec Stevens has worked professionally as an editorial illustrator. His work appeared from 1987-2001 in THE NEW YORK TIMES Book Review. He also contributed (often full page, full color) art to THE NEW YORKER, NEW JERSEY MONTHLY, Tower Records' PULSE, Reader's Digest Corp., United Features Syndicate, and many other clients.
